Buildings

At the beginning of the twentieth century, there were eight large houses within the township of Upton:

  • Brookside
  • The Salacres
  • The Priory
  • The Elms
  • Greenbank
  • Overchurch
  • Upton Hall
  • Upton Manor
By the beginning of the twenty-first century, only the last two of these remained. Both are now grade II listed buildings, one is used as a school and the other as a nursing home.
