 | Ian Upton | | | | | I have lived all of my life on the Wirral, most of it in Wallasey.

| | | | |

 | Margaret Owen formally Brennan | | | | | Just found your site and have spent hours reading about people I knew years ago.My brother John and I lived in Rake Lane, our Dad was Jack Brennan,Mum worked in the greengrocers at the traffic lights, laterly Ians.
Most of the family also lived in The Village, sadly
there is only John, my cousin Elizabeth (Begnett)
and myself left now.
I would like to hear from anyone who remembers our
family,so I hope I may hear from some of the Old Upton
People.

 | Sue. O'Neil | | | | | I know this message is nothing to do with Upton Village BUT I am the secretary of Greasby Players who are organizing an evening on behalf of the Blind and Partially Sighted Society in Birkenhead and we are trying fairly urgently to get in touch with someone called Melody who rang us. So, if Melody from Upton, you are reading this please ring 677 9187. Thank you.

 | Tony Williams | | | | | I used to live at 17 Manor Drive, until 1961. I went back a few years ago, down Memory Lane. Everything now seems so small! At least the weather's better now.

 | Tiffany | | | | | DO you know anything of the history of the last name Upton? It is my maiden name and very unusual in the U.S. I was just trying to do a little research and I came across this site.

 | Brendan | | | | | searched web looking for Upton, only Upton I know of was a place of pain, four walls, a concrate yard, and a daily beating, my Upton was in county Cork, five miles from Bandon, a hellhole I promised myself to return to burn the place to the ground, much to my regret I never kept my promise, it's probably a tourest site now, making lots of money for the men in skirts, adieu, Brendan
