The art room was located above the senior recreation room, next to the junior study.

After the art room moved to the St Joseph's building, the room was used for Business Studies.

In the 1970s the room became the sixth form common room.

In 2005, the wall between the art room and the junior study was removed and, after refurbishing, became the new library.
