The junior study was located above the junior recreation room. At the far end were double doors that led into a conservatory.

The conservatory was removed, and the doors replaced by windows, in 1950 when the new cloakrooms were built.

The junior study later became the sixth form canteen.

In 2005 the room was refurbished and became part of the new library.
